Email campaign automation offers an efficient way to communicate with recipients in a personalized and scalable way. In this article, we explain how you can use segments and automation in CleverReach to write to specific recipients who have been added to your system via import or an interface.

Click on Recipients in the menu on the left and select one of your recipient lists.

Select the tab Segments at the top and click on Add segment.
- Now select the conditions shown in the screenshot and click on finally click on Update & Save. Every day, the system determines which addresses have been inserted today. For example, if you enter a "1", it will filter who was imported yesterday

Create your automation. To do this, click on Automation THEA and on New automation chain > Blank template in the menu on the left.

Place the calendar element (orange) on the left of the free workspace and set (click on the pencil icon above the placed element) when the automation should be triggered. Click on Save.

Link the calendar element to the Import list of recipients. Select the previously created segment for this element.

Finally, drag the Send email element into the chain and connect it to the Load recipient group element.
In the example, the addresses in the segment are checked every day at 8 a.m. and they automatically receive the "Newsletter" message.
