In this article, we will show you how you can include a countdown in your newsletter without having to rely on complicated programming skills:
Why a countdown in your newsletter?
- Creates urgency: Limited offers or promotions are offers or promotions become particularly attractive with a countdown.
- Increases click rates: The countdown motivates recipients to act immediately.
- Increases the conversion rate: The time pressure accelerates purchase decisions.
Insert countdown in the newsletter
While countdown timers aren't directly integrated into our newsletter editor, they can be easily implemented using external tools or your own coding. Here's how:

To generate, use tools such as Sendtric or Mailtimers.
Enter your e-mail address and specify the required data to be provided with an HTML code: -
Now copy only the "https://..." section from the code from (marked orange in the screenshot).
- Insert an image element in the newsletter editor. Click on the element, but do not select an image for it. This will open the image settings on the right.
- Paste the previously copied section directly under Settings into the free field. Your previously configured countdown will appear directly within of the newsletter.
- Continue editing your newsletter and click in the top right corner on Next to send it.
