Newsletter key performance indicators (KPIs) in detail

With the new reporting you get a comprehensive and you a comprehensive and more flexible overview of the performance of your mailings. You can individually determine which key figures and widgets are displayed on the displayed on the reports page. This allows you to see exactly the information that is important for your evaluation.

Note: You can arrange all widgets individually, show or hide them and thus customize your reporting to your personal requirements.

The individual widgets and key figures are explained in detail below:

 Delivery

 The widget Delivery shows how many emails were successfully delivered and how many could not be delivered (bounces).

  • Added: Number of emails that have been successfully reached the recipient.
  • Bounces: Number of emails that could not be could not be delivered, for example due to invalid email addresses or full mailboxes.
  • Sending rate: Proportion of emails successfully sent emails in relation to the total number of recipients.

 → These key figures provide information about the technical delivery quality of your mailing.

Engagement

 The Engagement widget shows, how your recipients have interacted with your email.

  • Clicks: Number of recipients who clicked on at least one link in your email.
  • Unsubscribes: Number of recipients who unsubscribed from your newsletter via the unsubscribe link have unsubscribed.
  • Spam flags: Number of recipients, who have marked your email as spam.
  • Open rate (estimated): An estimate, how many recipients have opened your email, even if no clear tracking was possible (e.g. through e.g. due to privacy settings or blocked tracking pixels).
  • Opening rate (trackable): Proportion of recipients for whom an actual opening via the embedded tracking pixel could be measured.

 These key figures show how well your content is received by the recipients and how actively your target group interacts with your mailings.

Quality

This widget rates the subject and the content of your email on a scale from 0 to 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆

  • Subject: Evaluation of how meaningful and appealing the subject was.
  • Content: Evaluation of how well the email content performs - e.g. measured by click and interaction rates.

The job application helps you to optimize and improve future mailings.

Email clients

The Email clients widget shows you with which email programs or devices your recipients have opened your message.
Examples: Outlook, Apple Mail, Gmail, mobile devices (iOS/Android) or webmail services.

This analysis helps you to optimize your mailings for the most frequently used devices and clients.

Fade

The History widget displays openings and clicks are displayed over time.
You can change the view in the hourly or in the 5-minute intervals. This allows you to recognize when your email was used most actively immediately after sending or later.

This analysis helps you to determine the best time to send for future mailings.

Clicks

The widget Clicks shows, which links within your email have been clicked the most were clicked.
All included links are displayed with the respective click numbers and click shares.
This allows you to recognize which content or call-to-actions work best.

Click heatmap

The click heatmap visualizes which parts of your email were clicked on most often. 
Highly frequented areas are highlighted in color.
This allows you to see at a glance which elements receive the most attention - for example buttons, images or text links. or text links.

Origin of the recipients

This widget shows on a world map from which countries or regions your recipients have opened your email.
Opens and clicks are geographically assigned, so that you can recognize in which regions your campaign was particularly successful.

This information is particularly useful for international or regional orientated campaigns.
