Drupal 10 plugin - installation and setup

With this plugin, you can easily integrate newsletter subscription forms into your Drupal website and manage your contacts with CleverReach. In this article, you will learn how to install and set up the plugin.

Installation via the composer

It is possible to install the CleverReach plugin via the Composer. If you would like to take this route, Drupal provides instructions on the topic of managing Drupal components via Composer.

Installation via downloaded file

1. 1. Download the CleverReach plugin from the Drupal website. You will find the files under Alternative installation files.
      
      

   2. Log in with your Drupal account and select Extend > List from the menu at the top. Click on the + Add new module button.
      
      
      
   3. In your file directory, e.g. under Downloads, select the file you have just downloaded and then click on the Continue button.
      
      
      
   4. You will now find the plugin under its own CleverReach item in your list. Tick the box next to the module and then click on Install.

Link CleverReach account with Drupal

You have the option to synchronise all Drupal users that exist before the first synchronisation as active. If you tick the corresponding box, the CleverReach module adds the status of the newsletter subscription so that you can set this later for each user.

1. Click on Configuration at the top of the menu and then on CleverReach Configuration.
   
   

2. To connect your CleverReach account, click on Create and connect your new CleverReach account now!
   In the following pop-up window, enter your customer ID, your username and your password. Click on Log in now & connect Drupal to finalize the connection.
   
   
3. You have the option to synchronise all Drupal users that exist before the first synchronisation as active. If you tick the corresponding box, the CleverReach module will add the status of the newsletter subscription so that you can set this per user later.
   The recipients have been successfully imported and you can click on Create your first newsletter to be forwarded to CleverReach.
