When a customer clicks on a link, a newsletter can be automatically sent to your customer. This can be a registration confirmation email, for example.
You can use this function with the help of tags and THEA:
Insert link in text element
-
Open an e-mail and click on the Insert/edit link icon in the text element.
-
Enter your link in the pop-up window and, if desired, enter a text to be displayed. Then click on Save. Your inserted link is now underlined in blue and can be clicked on by your customers. To ensure that an e-mail is automatically sent to customers who have clicked on the link, you should also assign a tag.
Insert link via button element
- Open an e-mail and click on the button element on the left under the Elements tab and place it in the desired position.
Alternatively, you can also insert the element into your mailing using drag & drop.
-
Insert the link in the settings here. To automatically send an e-mail to customers who have clicked on the link, follow the next step.
Set tag for automation
-
Enter a word under Tags, e.g. Login and then click on Save.
-
Now create an automation with the event TAG as described in our article Automation THEA: The simple automation chain:
-
Click on the orange element and enter your registration.
-
Use the green e-mail icon to enter the e-mail to be sent.
As soon as a customer clicks on the button or link in the email in the future, the TAG is set and the THEA campaign starts with the email.
