In this article, you will learn how to manually delete recipients from your recipient lists in CleverReach. The procedure is similar to that of the deactivating recipients.
There are two different options:
We generally recommend always deleting the recipients deactivate instead of deleting them. If you delete a recipient, all saved information is also deleted. If this recipient is imported again later, it will again as an active recipient in the system.

In the menu on the left, navigate to Recipients and select the list from which you want to delete.

Search for specific recipients in the search bar by email address, name or other criteria (e.g. using the advanced search).

Click on the box in front of the recipient to select it and then click on the Delete button in the top action bar.

Confirm the deletion process in the pop-up window. The recipient is no longer in your recipient list.
Cross-list deletion

Navigate to the left in the menu to Recipients In the search field of the list overview, enter the recipient that you want to delete across the board.

Search explicitly for an e-mail address in the search bar (only complete e-mail addresses only the search for complete e-mail addresses is possible).
- All lists in which the address you are looking for are displayed. Select the lists from which the recipient is to be deleted and then click on the button at the top right Delete.
- Confirm the process in the following pop-up window. The recipient is now deleted from all lists.
Alternatively, you can also select one or more recipients within a list and click on the three dots at the top right ··· via the dot Delete from all lists to delete one or more data records.
If you want to block an e-mail address in your mailing list, we recommend the depositing a blocklist entry. This also results in automatic deletion in all distribution lists.
