So-called tracking links are used to measure how often links in your e-mail are clicked. Your normal links are converted into measurable tracking links that redirect to the link ULR.

Example: Your target URL is http://www.cleverreach.de and will be converted to the tracking link http://1.cleverreach.de/c/1025112/aZuo. If a recipient clicks the link they will be redirected to the target URL http://www.cleverreach.de at once. This measures the number of all (single or multiple) clicks on a link.

A lot of e-mail programs react with suspicion if your link text differs from the actual link itself. If you click a phishing link you will not be taken to the website mentioned in the link text, because that text does not represent the actual link. If an e-mail software detects such an irregularity it will give a Phishing warning.
